Manufacturing Engineer

Fulltime – Exempt
Duties:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing methods, personnel utilization, and production equipment
- Create and update manufacturing procedures as required. Perform training to manufacturing technicians as needed
- Develop technical requirements for the purchase of capital equipment including specification, bidding, selection, supplier management, plant layout, installation, training, and the start of production for new and re-designed equipment
- Analyze space requirements and workflow, and design the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace for maximum efficiency
- Support a wide variety of machining and grinding operations including training, procedure writing, and process improvements
- Support and programming of CNC machining centers is a plus
- Develop and maintain Bill of Operations within ERP system
- Able to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Demonstrates independent decision-making and action
Requirements:
- BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and SolidWorks. Experience with Minitab and Epicor ERP a plus
- Self-Starter with outstanding communication skills capable of managing multiple manufacturing projects and leading cross-department teams with a minimal amount of guidance
- Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position. Experience with heat treatment of metallics is a plus
- Travel as required to support business needs. Maverick will work around home schedules as much as possible

Human Resources Generalist
Introduction:
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR), including recruiting, hiring, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Fulltime – Exempt
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, aptitude exams, and certifications.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
- Maintains Employee information and status changes in the Payroll System along with upkeep of I-9 and Employee paperwork and files. (Put in all changes and updates to personnel and payroll.)
- Maintains all records in benefit portals. Updates, terminations, keeping all employees current for benefits with health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, life and supplemental life portals, and 401k.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Responsible for gathering and reporting information for AAP and EEOC reports due yearly.
- Provides Corporate with Data required for annual renewal of insurance and benefits.
- Handles and monitors Workers Comp issues with our MRO, including tracking and reporting our annual workers’ comp reports.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least three years of human resource management experience is preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
